EMSEA exists to act as a hub for the European marine science education community working on promoting ocean literacy across society
To support our community, we work across a wide spectrum including:
Campaigning - we act as one voice for scientists, teachers, policy makers and the public on marine education matters
Sharing - we share good practice and training opportunities through our annual international conferences
Projects - we work on grant-funded projects, ensuring our members can benefit from this work by being partners in grant applications
Supporting - we support our community through organising events within our EMSEA regional groups and providing ways for the network to connect through our EMSEA Reef digital platform
