Find us at the EMSEA Reef !
This regional group of EMSEA covers the coastal waters around the British Isles (including the Celtic Sea and Irish Sea), the North Sea and the English Channel (La Manche). It includes the northern coasts of France, Belgium and Netherlands and Germany, the seas around Denmark and along the west coast of Norway extending up into the Norwegian Sea. There is some geographical overlap with EMSEA Atlantic regional group with whom this group works closely.

Currently some of the UK members of this group have also been working on a new initiative called We Are Ocean
We are Ocean
We Are Ocean collective emerged in 2016 from a small group of organisations, aligned by shared objectives of increasing Ocean Literacy and effective collaboration in the UK. In accelerating Ocean Literacy we will live in a society that understands the importance of the ocean to humankind, can talk about the ocean in a meaningful way and are able to make informed and responsible decisions regarding the ocean and it’s resources.
We are ocean Report
We Are Ocean is the findings from an enquiry-led open innovation project exploring the relationship between humans and the ocean and how we might accelerate a more ocean literate culture.
