EMSEA 2016 conference, Titanic Belfast, Northern Ireland
Belfast, Northern Ireland held the Fourth European Marine Science Educators Association (EMSEA) Conference 2016. The event took place at the Titanic, Belfast.
The conference was organized by the host Susan Heaney of Blue Inspiration with the collaboration of the Irish Ocean Literacy Network.
Key themes for discussion in 2016 included Marine Science in formal and informal education settings; EMSEA-Med and TransAtlantic EMSEA collaborations as well as Blue Growth in Industry and Ocean Literacy Principle 6: The Oceans & Human Health – what will be our legacy?
