Ruth is a keen scuba diver who has always loved all aspects of the ocean. 

She works in Ostend as part of ‘Horizon Educatief’ - a service  that inspires people to discover about the versatility of the Belgian coast – which focuses primarily on education, but also organizes workshops, activities and tailor-made packages for other groups, associations and families. 

She has also been working on the Clean Sea Project which supports volunteers in raising awareness about the reduction of marine litter and other pollution.
