Guilia is an enthusiast educator in the field of Ocean Literacy. She is in EMSEA because she loves the sea. She never tires of learning about it and has always felt a huge need to act to protect it.  

A retired teacher, she is currently working in education research at the University of Camerino and within international groups such as EMSEA - Mediterranean Regional Group. She is also active in non-formal education with Scienza under 18, an Italian network aimed at science communication in school. She is EGU (European Geoscience Union) Education Field Officer for Italy and member of the Scientific Committee of NGO Ocean Literacy Italia.
